Rev. Vincent Arishvara – Pastor
 
Coming from Indonesia to United States in 2002 as an architect, Vincent started working at Trinity as a youth director until he was ordained under PCUSA in February 2013 as an Associate Pastor of Trinity. He stepped in as a temporary pastor of Trinity in September 2013 and was called to be the Pastor of Trinity on January 11, 2015. Received his theology education from Fuller Seminary and San Francisco Theological Seminary (SFTS). He lives happily with wife, Vania Hendratna and their two children, Viola and Varen. He loves anything that has something to do with art, music, writing, philosophy, and of course, theology.

Carol Van Wyk – Ministry Director
 
Carol has served in several local churches and joined Trinity in 2011. She has three children and 5 grandchildren who all live in San Jose. She enjoys hiking and reading, and spending time with her family.
Coming from Chicago originally, she loves the diversity of California and especially the ocean. Serving Trinity is not just a vocation but an opportunity to minister and care for the people.

Rev. Makalea Kim-Darmer –
Children’s Director  (Pre-school & K-5) 
& Food Pantry   
                                       
Makalea is an Ordained Pastor under United Evangelical Churches with a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology.  She has served in ministry on Worship Teams and other areas including staff positions as Church Secretary, Children’s Pastor and Pastoral Care.  She also volunteers as a Chaplain at Good Samaritan Hospital and works part time at the Preschool on premises. Her passions are many which currently or have included Advocate Speaker for needy children and families for World Vision and music, dance and theater productions. In addition, Makalea teaches piano, Polynesian dance and founded Shades of Praise Worship Arts, a non-profit organization dedicated to “Transforming Hearts Through Worship Arts”.  Her passion is to teach others to use their gifts and talents for an audience of One…Jesus Christ.
 
Makalea is also passionate about helping those in need and is now in charge of our weekly Food Pantry.

Susie Smare – Outreach Director
 
Susie’s passion is to show God’s love in practical ways, being Jesus’ hands and feet to the people in her community and abroad. She has relished the challenge of making nutritious food available to as many as possible in the neighborhood since she opened the weekly Food Pantry with Trinity’s support in 2011. Before taking on this role, she was a middle school science teacher for 25 years until her retirement in 2010. She enjoys spending time with her husband Ron, her three adult children and three adorable grandchildren any chance she can get.
Susie recently stepped down from being director of the Food Pantry but will continue to be our Outreach Director.

Laura Barragan – Choir Director
 
Laura Barragán is a young soprano and graduate of West Valley College with an AA in Music. She recently received her BA with a double major in Vocal Performance and Music Education at San Jose State University. Laura teaches beginning piano and voice and she currently teaches at Willow Glen Music School. Her interest in music is driven by her love of performing. She has sung in various choirs, including West Valley Chamber Singers with Lou de la Rosa and SJSU Choraliers with Dr. Jeffrey Benson, for the past five years. She also enjoys taking part in opera theater classes and local musical theater productions.

Jerry Prawiharjo – Media & Technology Director
 
Jerry maintains the audio-visual technology to ensure a smooth worship. He can otherwise be found tweaking lasers, or at home with his family.
